How Finch works
Planning with Finch starts with a conversation, not a form. Here’s the whole journey — exactly as it happens in the app.
The four steps
Talk to Finch
A real spoken conversation about your life and what you want your money to do for you — goals first: a home, a family, security, time. No judgement, no jargon, and Finch checks its understanding as you go.
Answer the essentials
A short set of structured questions covering income, spending, savings, pensions, debts and protection — the facts a good planner would need. It takes about two minutes.
Get your plan
Sign up (£15 a month) and Finch builds your plan, then talks you through it: your priorities, in the right order, each one explained. Trying Finch — the conversation and the questions — is free; the plan is what you pay for.
Keep it going
A check-in each week keeps the plan current as life changes. And you can talk to Finch whenever a money question comes up. Not a plan you file away — one that moves with you.
What Finch is — and isn’t
Finch is financial planning and guidance: serious, impartial, and built around you. It isn’t regulated financial advice, which means it can’t make specific, personalised product recommendations.
Regulated advice is on our roadmap, so we hope to be able to help you with even more in the future, but in the meantime there’s plenty we can do to help you meet your goals.
